Try Less Hard at Printers’ Ball

Don’t be so shocked that I’m back.

You might recall that Sarah and I were making a zine. That zine is called Try Less Hard, and if you haven’t gotten a copy, you’ll be able to pick one up (for free!) at the Printers’ Ball, which will be at the Zhou B. Art Center on the 20th of July, starting at 8PM.

There’s going to be tons of stuff going on, including an installation provided by the Chicago Underground Library, and you know you love CUL. Can’t afford a ticket you say? The whole event is free! Even the hot dogs. You’ll also be able to subscribe to some participating publications while you’re there. Though you will have to pay for those. If you have any interest at all in Chicago’s print culture, you should go. With somewhere around 100 participating organizations, reading series and publications, this year’s event can’t help but be great (and I’m not just saying that because I’m part of it).
