RTG Dance Benefit

RTG Dance BenefitRachel Thorne Germond is a good choregrapher. I learned a bit about her background and process during the workshop taught by Karen Christopher and Litó Walkey at Links Hall back in the fall. I went to see her show “Wonder” at Links right around that time too. That particular show had some great moments, and some not so great moments. Regardless, I file her under “Good” in my mind. Rachel’s vocabulary of movements is interesting (I really like to watch her move. If you’ve seen her, you probably do too) and the sources she’s been working with are great (lots of the 60s, with Elvis and Marilyn as key players).

Therefore, you should go to the benefit that her company, RTG Dance is throwing on May 26th to help fund the performance they will be doing in June at Links Hall.

Why should you go to this event? Because I can’t go (nor can I go to the show in June). Because supporting RTG Dance is a good idea. Because you’ll hear some music by Michael Zerang. Because you’ll see lots of great dancers. Because it’s a party. Because there will be wine and beer and food. Because there will be raffle prizes. Because I asked.
