Impossible to work

Need something to do this weekend? There’s a lot going on I know, but why not fit in a trip to Version as well? In particular, the NFO XPO (pronounced info expo) at the Version Kunsthalle (aka Iron Studios Building) on Saturday from Noon-2AM and Sunday from Noon-7.

It’s just a hop skip and a short drive from the Hyde Park Art Center’s 36-hour opening, so why not?

Red Line to Sox-35

#35 bus westbound to Iron St.

Walk south on Iron to 3636 S Iron St.

Late Night: Take the #9 Ashland bus to 35th St. And walk east to Iron and south to 3636 S. Iron St.

My performance group, Structures Without Integrity, is particpating at Version>06. If you wind your way to the 4th Floor of the Verion Kunsthalle you’ll get a chance to take part in our piece “Simultaneous Landscapes.”

Our booth at the NFO XPO will be a continuously changing installation including monster buiildings, a volcano and a bread house. You’ll get to play with the installation and change it by taking one of our tours. Only a few people can take a tour at a time, so you might have to wait a few minutes. Fortunately, there will be a waiting room stocked with reading materials and refreshment. Be prepared to play, because you might find yourself in the middle of someone else’s tour while you’re waiting.
